On 3 April, the ground-breaking ceremony took place for the new Carl Roth building on the 25,000 m\u00b2 plot recently acquired from the city. The new building will significantly increase Carl Roth’s space for logistics, production and administration, creating a basis for further development in the future. Carl Roth now has three sites in Karlsruhe measuring approx. 45,000 m\u00b2. <\/p>\n\n

The ground floor of the new building will contain, among other things, a 660 m\u00b2, automatic small parts warehouse from which goods will be shipped across Germany and to more than 100 countries around the world. Carl Roth will use the remaining space to house a pallet warehouse, various production areas and sophisticated IT-assisted logistics infrastructure. The top floor will comprise around 700 m\u00b2 of office space with washrooms and changing facilities, as well as a common room. <\/p>\n\n

It was not difficult to decide on Karlsruhe for the new site: <\/p>\n\n

the company has 140 yeas of shared history with the city. In the middle of 2020, our employees will be able to take up jobs at modern, state-of-the art workstations in an energy-saving building with striking architecture. We are very excited about taking this step into the future together. For us, progress means being there for our customers and offering a service that always meets their needs. <\/p>\n\n
