Anne Fuhrmann wins Carl Roth Young Talent Award 2018

Anne Fuhrmann (Humboldt University of Berlin) was given the award in recognition of her fundamental research into polymer materials and their “curability” under light using molecules that can be activated and deactivated. The focus of her doctoral thesis is on a product with a functional polymer coating that can be repaired any number of times if damage is inflicted on it. This would prevent the entire product from having to be replaced, which can be expensive and harmful to the environment. Anne Fuhrmann is already the lead author of three publications.

We would like to warmly congratulate the prize-winner on her award and wish her every success and joy with her research in the future.
